For my screen cast project i thought it was a bit boring, the topics were not fun. finding a topic was hard. there were only a few i could do and only one topic i wanted to do. but i could use this in the future if i every needed to teach a friend something or if i need to make a tutorial of how to perform a certain job for a company. over all i thought it was fun, although i wish we would have been able to pick any topic we wanted.

Theodore roosevelts trip to the river of doubt

in 1913 Roosevelt traveled to Africa to explore the river of Doubt. his son Kermit Roosevelt came with him to help. in the short year of traveling the trip went disastrously wrong. the animals that carried their supplies died from lack of sleep or lack of food. because of this they had to get rid of some supplies. when they got to the river, they had to cut the remaining supplies in half . the canoes leaked from piranha bites, and they were difficult to steer. many men died from sickness or from being battered against the rocks. Theodore himself was sick, he had been bitten by bugs carrying fatal diseases. Near the end Kermit his father and only three other men got out thanks to Kermit's intelligence.

cyberbully

in the movie "cyber bully" (starring Emily osment) the main character Taylor gets a laptop for her birthday.as she signs up for a social networking site Taylor is betrayed by her friends, bullied by her enemies, and being embarrassed. she soon reaches breaking point and tries to take her life. she then finds support from other teens who were bullied. while her mom takes on the school system.

when i see hurtful things being posted or being said i think of the person as someone who has no emotions,or a is insecure about themselves so to make themselves feel better they put down others.

if i wanted to post a mean comment i would stop and think about what it could lead to.

i would use the words helpful, true friend , and a caring person to describe a person who helps a victim of cyberbullying.

Steve MacDonald vs Target

Steve MacDonald a made a poster design for a 2009 bicycle film Festival this poster looked like a body pillow cover sold at Target. outraged he went to target to take a look at the body pillow case he bought one and blogged that Target ripped him off. he said they used the same colors he used to make the design and they used hand drawn bikes. although he never went to court he sould have still won i think.

internet safety

Internet safety is how careful you are online. the three most important things about Internet safety is , Don't give out personal information , if your chatting and the other person starts talking inappropriately get an adult, and lastly don't trust the free adds they could have a virus. during the presentation i learned that there's alot of strange people out there and one piece of information can lead to ruining your life. to improve my Internet safety I'll try to stay off of strange web sites and get help if i see an inappropriate picture.
